Joanne Liu

Joanne is a licensed Singapore tour guide, photography enthusiast, and educator. To her, a good photograph is never just the moment the shutter is pressed—it is shaped by the focus before the shot, the patience to wait, and the careful observation of animal behavior and the natural environment.

She has participated in multiple photography expeditions and workshops led by renowned National Geographic photographers, learning diverse shooting techniques and gradually developing her own understanding of composition, observation, and visual storytelling. She is also a National Geographic Lifelong Explorer.

Before devoting herself to photography and travel work, she worked in international advertising and later ran a photography and content production company, accumulating more than 27 years of experience in advertising creativity, photography, and film production.

Today, she brings together her years of creative experience and her love for wildlife and nature. On every journey, she hopes to share her photographic insights with her participants, explore the natural world along the way, and use the camera to capture beautiful moments—creating shared memories of each adventure.
