Building a Photographic Sequence
Choose a thread: describe the sequence in one sentence. Light, habitat, daily life or travel rhythm can provide a clear theme.
Mix distances: an establishing view, a closer subject and a detail can form the first structure. Each frame should add something new.
Edit the order: compare colour, tone and viewing direction so frames connect naturally. Remove repetition and give stronger images room.
Write honestly: describe place and observation, separating facts from impressions. Do not turn an encounter into a promise or invent a person’s history.
